So Thankful - Shadow Box Card - Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #13 Fall Inspiration Board

Hello and welcome. Today I'm sharing this fun project inspired by the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #13 - Fall Inspiration Board. It's the perfect time to pull out and have a play with Lawn Fawn's Shadow box card die and Forest Feast set along with some fun patterned papers. I just love how this project turned out, and all the sets worked so perfectly together.

I have used the colour pallette as well and fall canopy image from the Fall Inspiration board as inspiration. The Shadow box card was a perfect way to capture this scene using the new Forest Feast critters. Most of the colour pallete have been used with some creative licence using red to substitute  the magenta/pink - just had to use red for the apples and toadstools hehe.

The hills and trees from the set have all been used to create the forest scene layers with the large branches to act as trees in the foreground by attaching them vertically behind the squirrel and hedgehog giving the illusion of being taller.

A combination of 6x6 inch patterned papers, from Knock on Wood, Perfectly Plaid Chill and Rainbow made it so much easier to build the scene and at the same time adding instant colour and texture to the finished shadow box.

The images have been coloured in with Prismacolor pencils with the use of gamsol for blending.

The sentiment is from Forest Feast that I has been white heat embossed. The same die cut hillside and patterned paper used to match the exterior.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have found inspiration with this adorable Shadow box card. I absolutely love this set and can't wait to create more fun scenes with it. It also folds flat for easy mailing and makes a stunning handmade decor to display - which just makes you smile. Until next time - Happy crafting! :)
