Poppy Stamp Challenge #42 - Clean & Simple: Sending hugs and kindness

Hello and welcome. Today's card has been inspired and entered in Poppy stamps Challenge #42 - Clean & Simple and have used the cute new Valentine Fairies set along with Memory Box, Everglade and Forest Collage dies. Both these sets compliments each other so well and creates such an elegant clean and simple layout. Here is the banner, so many creative entries on there, click here to join in the fun. :)
Here is my card...
I have created a die cut window using both the Everglade and Forest collage dies from Memory Box. These dies creates such a gorgeous foliage frame that invites you in - love how they layer too adding even more interest. The larger Everglade die is at the front and has been die cut on a separate panel and adhered with fun foam for an even raise. The Forest die has been die cut onto the card base to create the overall window front.

The sentiments are from both the Valentine Fairies set 'hugs and kindness' and Sending Scribbles to create a fun contrast of the fonts. The sending has been cut out to blend in with the foliage frame.
I have used Versafine Onyx black ink and then clear heat embossed to set in place to prevent from smudging.

Inside the card, I have die cut the Everglade die to create a mask and positioned in place to line up with the front. I have used Clarity Stencil brushes as the stencil has delicate edges and these brushes are perfect and gives a soft and seamless blending. Ranger distress oxide inks - Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio used for ink blending.

The cute fairy has been coloured in with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils for the yellow accents as well as the tone on tone shadow accents. I then used my Scan 'n' Cut electronic cutter to cut out both the fairy and her heart wand. Clear glossy accents added to the heart to add some shine and dimension. For the finishing touches, I added a few clear sequins on the front to balance out the sentiment and add interest.

I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration. This card was a lot of fun to create and combining both sets allows so much more creativity and verstatility. Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time - Happy Crafting! :)
